5. James BLYTH was born in 1686. He signed a Will on 11 Jan 1750 in Langham, Essex. James was living in Langham when he wrote his Will. His Will was proved on 12 May 1764. He was buried on 18 May 1764 in Langham, Essex. 1709: From his fathers Will James received "land called Crouchfield alias Merryfield and meadow called the Hoppett in Langham and also the 'term' in 'the further park lands'". He also received £360.

He was married to Susan POTWELL on 20 Oct 1715 in St Peters, Colchester, Essex. Marriage Licence Index: 1715 - James Blythe of Langham, Farmer and William Potwell of Langham, Farmer bound James to Susan Potwell at St Peters, Colchester. James BLYTH and Susan POTWELL had the following children:

He was married to Ann MURSON on 10 Oct 1723 in St Peters, Colchester, Essex. Marriage Licence List: 1723 - James Blythe of Langham, Yeoman & Ann Hedge of Colchester bound James, 37, to Ann Murson of the same at St Peters, Colchester. Ann MURSON was made Executor to the will of James Blyth, her husband on 11 Jan 1750. She inherited land from her husband on 12 May 1764. The land Ann was to receive was occupied by Thomas ___ when her husband wrote his will. These lands were to be passed to her son William upon Anns death. She signed a Will on 5 Jun 1770. Ann was living in Langham when she wrote her will. Her Will was proved on 24 Jul 1779. James BLYTH and Ann MURSON had the following children:
